From England head towards Carlisle, and then follow
the M74. There are exits for Dumfries, Ayr and Kilmarnock. The scenic Galloway
Tourist Route along the A713 is a beautiful alternative to the main roads
and takes you right into the heart of golfing country. From the north just
head south towards Glasgow and then along the M77/A77 to Ayrshire.
