Robert Burns
The most famous son of Ayrshire is Rabbie Burns – born
in Alloway, Ayr his words still touch the heart and mind, and
he is toasted annually at Burns Suppers throughout the world.
Burns is commemorated around Ayrshire through a wealth of sites
and monuments. Enjoy the experience at the Burns National Heritage
Park, Ayr and Burns Cottage also in Ayr.

Culzean Castle
Travel south from Ayr along the scenic coastal route (A719)
for approximately 8 miles to one of Scotland’s most
popular tourist attractions.
Culzean Castle and Country Park is often described as the ‘Jewel
in the Crown’ for the National Trust of Scotland. Built
on a cliff-top and marvellously restored, Culzean offers beautiful
gardens, an adventure playground, period furnishings and a
deer park.

Racecourse
Fancy a flutter on the horses? Ayr Racecourse is Scotland’s
finest and plays host to the Ayr Gold Cup and the Scottish
National. Ideal for a great day out.
